Vicki & family

Kept apart by lockdowns and being on different sides of the world, Vicki and her brother hadn't seen each other for years. It was a real pleasure to be part of this reunion at their family home!

We had a lovely morning at their castle in the bright Scottish sunshine, as the little ones met their uncle, and everyone else met his partner, for the first time.

Multi-generational shoots are so special, and I love watching the interaction between grandparents and their grandchildren! The littlest one was easily entertained by a pretty necklace or even some blades of grass, but her brother decided to join in on his own terms. What's great about a shoot with lots of people is the kids can play freely while others are in the spotlight.

In some of the photos, the family included a picture of Vicki and her husband's first son Miles, who sadly passed away at two weeks old. He will always be a part of this family and I thought this was a great way to remember and honour his life.

There were so many great places to take photos at the castle, we didn't have time to fully explore all of them! Family shoots can take place in your own home or garden, a local park, or other outdoor location of your choice. If you would like a particular special place incorporated into your photos, get in touch and we can arrange your bespoke photoshoot.
