Food Photography

My first ever photography commission was for Café Broma at the Faith Mission Bookshop in Edinburgh. They were refreshing their menu and I took some photos of their toasties, rolls, hot dishes and drinks.

Food photography can be just about the final dish or product, for use on menus or food packaging, or to advertise a business such as a bakery or catering service. Alternatively, I can provide a storytelling approach showing the food in context (for example in a café setting), or at different stages in its preparation, for uses such as a recipe book. If you are a food producer, photographs taken on your farm showing where food is grown or raised, and the people who work there, adds to the authenticity of your business.
